Piano and animes

I've finally dusted away the...dust (what's happening to my english) on my piano, finally finding myself the will to play every weekend. There's a lot of songs I really want to play atm, and I must admit I'm damn fucking rusty. I don't think I can even remember playing a complete song without mistakes (I take mistakes damn harshly).

I've been watching animes again. Haruhi 2, FMA: Brotherhood, and even old ones like Dokuro-chan, Gintama and Blood. K-On is a pretty nice show imo. It's like Macross Frontier; you only watch it for the insert songs.

On the side note, there are a bunch of games I haven't reviewed yet. I'll just briefly go through them:

GTA:Chinatown Wars - What GTA4 could've been. If Gamespot rate GTA4 as a 10/10 game (which is rubbish), I would rate it a 15/10. It's a solid game, with side missions which is not redundant to do. If you remember when I reviewed about GTA4, I mentioned that it has too much gimmicks and unnecessary side jobs that are not worth the money.

Soma Bringer - Think MMO. Actually, think D2.

Rock Band Unplugged - It's four buttons BUT has instrument switching. The mechanics is genius. And best of all, I'm playing expert and I don't feel it's a mashing game (unlike DJMAX series).

On the side note, Josh Anime Music website has K-on piano sheet musics. He uploaded himself playing and they all sound very good :)

Thanks to karlson for informing me.

Episode was pretty awesome, was almost exactly as I imagined when I read the light novel (translated of course) @ Baka Tsuki.

21st birthday!

Best party ever! Thanks everyone who came and attended. Thanks for shin kiat for the collared shirt (which my wardrobe lack, and how the hell you know my size? lol), thanks to my NS pals for all the great fun you gave me (and yourselves) and the StarCraft board game present. I'll try my best to figure out the rules. And most espacially, thanks to all those who chipped in for the unexpected surprise present, which I believe was Kalvin, Weilian, Trevor, Minfu(?), Yuzhang (1314!), Zhaohan(?), heck no one told me who chipped in man lol. And thanks John alot for coming up with that surprise. Was really not expecting that. I kinda forgot what game I really want to play on that console.

For the SMS's, thanks to those that msged me but couldn't make it. Boonkin, hope you go through JCC safely. Minfu, hope you get well soon (or not, if you want Attend C rofl). Howle, hope your mum gets well soon.

Overall it's a great chalet, seeing everyone play SF4 over the night. Star Trek was pretty nice show, although it has too much talk and too little action. John getting drunk. Cake smashed on my face. Twice. The weird stuff you all did on me with that stacking game.

I really appreciate everything everyone did to me. It was all fun :) Thanks for the great 21st :p

Crazy Night @ St. James

Got rather high on almost nothing but beer this friday. I think I'm actually alcoholic. When I drink everyone (including drinkers) just look at me every time I lift a glass. Then whenever I finish a glass in a go they all tell me, "wtf so fast finish?" Is it so amazing? I thought that's the proper way of drinking >.<

Sidetracking a bit, RE5 is rather fun after a few chapters. Play it with a friend, it helps :)

Granado Espada - Free DVD delivered to your house

As some might already know, Granado Espada have gone from P2P to F2P. I have heard of F2P games packaged into DVDs and given away free, but to be delivered to your doorstep?

Are they that desperate? Or do they have tons of money?
